[ Mildly, ] Or we could just learn t'yodel.

[JUST SAYING. And Dick's comment gets a little tiny smile all its own, and a faintly approving nod.]

[ Buck looks at him in brief surprise, not quite believing Steve slipping back to Brooklyn this fast around a stranger, and he laughs. ]

All the better t'keep an eye on ya, punk.

[ The Brooklyn makes him laugh, though a moment later he's covering it over with a gloved hand. He's not laughing at Steve. Not really. ]

Just so we're clear I've got dibs on wing scallops. Kid Robin can have nose tips.

[ That would be Damian. ]

[A shake of his head, he's wryly amused.]

Anyway, I won't keep you guys. Buck - catch you later. Robin, it was nice meeting you.

[ Somewhere in Haven, Damian Wayne is suddenly annoyed without knowing why. ]

He really likes you.

[ He'd nodded to Steve as he went off, and waited until he was definitely out of earshot to confide this to Dick. He's still relaxed, and the smile has turned wistful. ]

You really think so?

[ Dick is still beaming a little at Steve's back, chin propped in his hands. ] I was hoping I'd get to meet him sometime. I've heard so much about him.

Yeah.

[ He doesn't usually joke so openly around strangers Bucky introduces him to, and he rarely smiles. In Haven, Cass is the sole exception. ]

Only the good stuff, I hope.

Yeah. Only the good stuff. [ He echoes the words, the smile still lingering while he eyes him with something like genuine surprise. ]

...There's not so good stuff?

[ There's a few niggling things. But Buck leans down, and whispers, "horrified", ] He snores.
